East Austin Studio Tour
So Danielle and I met with a couple of new friends and took a tour of the East Austin Studio Tour.
E.A.S.T. is in its seventh year and is where artist open their studios or homes to the public for one weekend.
It's a chance for people to see where the magic happens.
This little girl was one of the artist daughters and of course was playing with paint.
Each studio/home was marked with a number and there was a map given out of the entire tour area.
I really enjoyed Jeffery Swanson's work.
The owners of this space had a goat and a stage full of old type writers. Artist are pretty weird.
This is Danielle and I going super fast on a scooter in the city, good times.
This space was really interesting, it was a co op which had multiple artist within the building.
This is the back yard at Okay Mountain, which is the greatest gallery I've ever been to.
Me standing outside of Okay Mountain after a long day of walking with a camera bag on my back, yeppy!

pretty cool. wonder if there's anything of the sort in baltimore. been meaning to go to the art gallery downtown for years now. we've set a goal to start doing museum tours in the spring and after the wedding. You guys look like you fit in there well--lots of artsy fun.
